Rosemary Omamo

Head of Corporate Strategy

Rosemary Omamo is a Kenyan corporate executive, lawyer (LLB LAW UoN), and philanthropist with deep experience in commercial leadership, governance, and strategic oversight. She brings legal acumen, business development expertise, and a proven ability to contribute meaningfully to board deliberations on corporate governance, risk management, compliance, and strategic growth. Her background enables informed oversight of commercial strategy, stakeholder engagement, and organizational performance. In parallel, she is actively engaged in philanthropic and social impact initiatives focused on youth empowerment, education, and community development, reinforcing a purpose-driven leadership approach. Rosemary is valued for her independent judgment, ethical leadership, and capacity to support management teams in delivering sustainable, long-term value creation while balancing shareholder and societal interests.

Bachelor of Laws Honours [LL B Hons] Florence is a holder of Bachelor of Law degree from the University of Zimbabwe where she specialized in Commercial Law. She was once in private practice where she worked as a Professional Assistant with Jesie Majome Legal practitioners specializing in Criminal Law, Commercial Law, Notary and Conveyancing. Mrs Chagadama went on to work for Zimbabwe Legal Resources Foundation as a Projects Lawyer for Human Rights. At the Foundation, she also partakes on normal legal cases.

Ranganai Makwata

Ranganayi Makwata, LLB (Hons) UZ, BCom (Finance) Hons, MBA (NUST), CFA

Ranganayi (“Ranga”) Makwata is an investment banker and registered legal practitioner, conveyancer, and notary public with over 20 years’ experience across stockbroking, asset management, pension funds, and corporate advisory.He is a Partner and Director at Zfn Capital and Co-founder of Fincent Capital, an investment advisory boutique licensed in stockbroking and advisory services. He is also a founding director and current President of the Investment Professionals Association of Zimbabwe (IPAZ).Ranga serves on the board of CFA Society South Africa and is an active member of the CFA Institute and SAIFM. He practices law with Musengi and Sigauke Legal Practitioners and is executive producer and panelist of the widely followed Friday Drinks by Zfn Capital podcast.

 

Christopher Mugaga

Non-Executive Chairperson

Christopher Takunda Mugaga is a prominent industrialist within the SADC region with diverse skills ranging from corporate governance , economics , commercial law as well as international trade . He was born a triplet in the city of Gweru in Zimbabwe and has attained different qualifications which includes post grad in Financial Economics as well as post grad in Commercial law both at Masters degree level . He is the current Chief Executive of Zimbabwe National Chamber of Commerce responsible for steering the direction of industy and commerce in Zimbabwe and beyond . Other positions he holds include the vice board chair of Standards Association of Zimbabwe (SAZ) – a standards development body in Zimbabwe , a board members at Comesa Business Council (CBC) based in Lusaka , Zambia , former Councillor for Chinhoyi University of Technology(CUT) and former board member at Competition and Tarrif Commission (CTC) – an anti trust body. Christopher has won different accolades which includes Ten Outstanding Young People (TOYP) 2021 courtesy of Junior Chamber International , Zimbabwe Institute of Management- Runner Up Businessman 2025 , Young Director of the Year 2018 courtesy of Institute of Corporate Directors Zimbabwe among other achievements.

Batanai Matsika

Batanai has more than 15 years’ experience in equities research and mainstream investment banking in Sub-Saharan Africa (including South Africa). He has worked for local and regional finance and investment banking houses including Imara Africa Securities, Sanlam, Banco Português de Investimento (BPI), Akribos Capital and Morgan & Co. He has also consulted for Nova Capital Africa Analytics (USA), Hamilcar Capital (UK) and Mackie Research Capital Corporation (Canada).

Batanai is a thought leader and columnist for the Zimbabwean Independent and appears on business and financial TV shows including CNBC Africa, Business Day TV and China Global Television Network (CGTN). He holds an MSc in Corporate Finance & Investment Management, Honours Degree in Business Studies (Finance & Banking) and a Post-Graduate Certificate in Treasury Management from the University of Zimbabwe. Batanai Matsika is an Associate of the Institute of Bankers of Zimbabwe (IOBZ) and Member of the Institute of Business Advisors in Southern Africa (IBASA). He is a non-executive director for Velocity Wellness and a member of the AfCFTA Advisory Council in Zimbabwe (AAC).

 

Patience Mukamambali Mwilu

Patience Mukamambali Mwilu is a Zambian born international expert on Customs and Excise with a track
record which left an indelible mark in different corners of the world from European capitals such as
Brussels in Belgium to neighbouring countries like Botswana. She is currently Assistant Commissioner
–Audit for Zambia Revenue Authority and is based in Lusaka. An Accounting and Finance graduate and
ACCA Fellow that strives for excellence and professionalism with a keen interest in developing leadership
skills, Finance Management, Strategic Management, Change Management and leveraging technology to
enhance productivity to the satisfaction of stakeholders or to provide excellent customer service.
A source of inspiration for a late of young people in Zambia, Patience is a Christian who grooms a lot of
young professionals and impact on their lives so positively. Confident, creative, highly organized,
dedicated and self-driven with consolidated and valuable experience in strategic planning, risk
management, audit, Tax and Business Logistics including vast knowledge and skills in Customs and Excise
matters. Meticulous in utilizing expertise to conduct diagnostic missions or gap assessment on tax
matters and providing training workshops with technical assistance, knowledge and advice to enhance
voluntary compliance by increasing tax knowledge as well as improving effectiveness and efficiency of
systems and controls to reduce cost of compliance to the business on one hand and reduce cost of
compliance management to Tax or Revenue Administrators on the other hand. Passionate about helping
